Easy&Yummy Coconuts Milk Curry


Last Thursday, I made Coconuts milk curry for the first time. Last time John had a flight to Japan, he went to Thai restaurant in Narita Airport and had a nice dinner which I can't have here in Germany.. When I was still living in Tokyo, I used to come over to see him at Narita and went to the restaurant to have coconuts curry milk curry (could be something different but this kinda stuff). Whenever I go to Malaysian, Thai, Vietnam restaurant, I can't help ordering food seasoned with coconuts. Mmm..

先週の木曜に初めてココナッツミルクカレー作った。前回ジョンが日本に着いたときに夕食にタイレストランに行って、おいしーいご飯を食べて来たっていうのもあって悔しくて作った笑 まだ私が東京に住んでたときはジョンのフライトの度に成田に行って、そのタイレストランでよくこういうカレー(か麺)注文したの。タイ・ベトナム・マレーシア系のレストランに行くとココナッツベースのメニューしか注文しないくらい好きだから自分で作らない手はないよね。すんごく簡単で肉・魚なしのダイエットカレー。試してみて!

Onion (玉ねぎ) 1/Small size Sliced
Red Paprika (レッドパプリカ) 1
Green onion (長ネギ) 1 stick-30cm
Bottled Champignon/Mushroom (小さめのマッシュルーム又はしめじ 1パック) 1package/bottle (I used 300g)  
Water (水) 300ml  
Chicken stock powder(鶏がらスープ(顆粒)小さじ2 ) 2 tsp
Canned Coconuts milk (ココナッツミルク 1缶) 1 can 
Carry roux (カレールー) 120g
Salt to taste/season (塩 少々)


1 Melt a bit of butter in a pan and fry onion until golden brown.
フライパンに少〜しだけバターを溶かし玉ねぎが軽く色づくまで炒める。


2 Dump Champignon into the pan to fry another few minutes.
マッシュルーム/しめじを入れてしっかり火が通るまで炒める。

3 Add 300ml water, coconuts milk, and chicken soup powder, mix well.
水300mlとココナッツミルクと鶏ガラスープの素を入れ、混ぜる。


4 Dump green onion and paprika, simmer a little.
小口切りにしたネギとパプリカを入れて少し煮る。

5 Add curry roux, mix well, simmer for 5~ min., salt to taste.
カレールーを入れて塩で味調整をし、軽く煮込む。

You're done! So easy, isn't it?
